The Sales Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Sales Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
The Sales Manager is expected to:
• Define the product strategy and roadmap.
• Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings.
• Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
• Be an expert with respect to the competition.
• Deliver a monthly revenue forecast.
• Develop sales tools and collateral.
• Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.
• Propose an overall budget to ensure success.
Required experience and knowledge:
• Minimum of 8 years experience as a Sales Manager.
• Minimum 5 years of GCC experience is a must for the candidate.
• Ready to work in UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt and Morocco.
• Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
• Technical background, with experience in consumer electronics sales.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past.
